Dandelion Farm is set in the beautiful Bitterroot Valley in western Montana, between the Bitterroot and Sapphire Mountains.

At Dandelion Farm, our aim is to breed purebred Irish Draught horses who possess the wonderful, essential qualities of the breed: intelligence, excellent temperament, bone, substance, and athleticism while maintaining breed type. While trying to keep all of those qualities in mind, we also look for horses who represent outcross bloodlines in order to help maintain genetic diversity within the gene pool of this rare breed. We also breed a few sporthorses. We use Irish Draught Sport Horses, Thoroughbreds and Connemaras to produce crosses with the Irish Draughts.
